This was a return visit. The Fish & Ships were cooked well and very tasty. Quality was excellent, others could learn from them. Staff are very friendly and helpful. At the time I needed chips for 13 people. We did phone ahead as otherwise it is unfair. When I arrived everything was completely under control. In addition Hexham Fish Bar also donated 50 towards the charities we were training funds for. This was a fantastic and very generous donation and shows how lovely the staff are. I shall definitely return again in the future

This fish bar is far the best in Hexham. The quality and hospitality of this conveniently placed shop exceeds the likes of Paxtons or others. Food is great and isn't smothered in grease, the selection is vast and they'll cook whatever variation of food you ask for. The lovely Greek family who run it all are very friendly and overall make up a great place to eat.
Used the fish bar during the covid 19 lock down, very well organized for the take away side of the operation, the sit in part of the business was closed, we ordered fish and chips, the fish was very good with a nice batter and there were plenty of chips, the price seems to be about average, the staff were very friendly and I would definitely go back again
Best fish and chips in Hexham, and struggle to find better in the North East imo.
