Lovely rural setting not too far from Hexham. Nice views down towards the Tyne Valley. Small garden centre with real expertise in hanging baskets but the crown jewel is the tea rooms. Nice people, nice simple food, lovely views and social distancing compliant.

Over the years I've become a bit of a semi-regular at the café, which I think is great. There's nothing fancy about it - just excellent food and a really friendly set of ladies who run it. It's also in an excellent location if you're cycling so I'd thoroughly recommend popping in...
