Brilliant. Popped in for some wood for jobs in the garden and a member of staff from the wood cutting section stepped in to help me. Showed me where I needed to go, helped me select the best pieces and the cut them. Prices quoted were cheap and will definitely use this establishment again. Recommend this place for all your household needs.

Appalling Customer service in the building yard.. it took 3 ‘lads’ to amble off and check if they could find item.. that I had been told was in the builders merchants department awaiting collection... first I was informed No not here.. wrong department. Then nope never seen it...as I begged they look... eventually they made a call...with a few shrugs and I really can’t be bothered attitude they wandered of too look .. two other customers arrived during the discussion on where the item was and not one of the three lads stopped to help the new customers they all walked of to find my item... this ordered item was in before Christmas but they still failed to inform me!.. ‘’chocolate fireguards’’ the lot of them. It’s not my first bad customer service Experience from Hexham either!!!!
Jamie, Tony & the team could not have been more helpful - they took the time to advise on what materials I needed for the project, how to use them & the associated equipment hire. Service throughout was excellent - exceeding expectations at all stages. Great value too!
Rather expensive but have no choice, no where else close to me sells what I needed. Staff could be a bit more pleasant.
My go-to hardware suppliers. Usually have what I need in stock - or order promptly. The staff are wonderful!
