Great place for a family walk. Beautiful surroundings and great views on a clear day. Take all rubbish home as there's been a lot of rubbish left around recently. Park in the steel rigg car park - prices have increased (10 full day).

Nice place for a walk and some history. Don’t forget to walk around the wall for a good shots.

It’s a wonderful walk to the Sycamore Tree. Park at The Steel Rigg car park that’s off the main road in the village of Once Brewed. The walk is a 3km round trip and well worth every step. This landscape is simply stunning and the tree is absolutely magical.

Beautiful and scenic, even when rainy. If you are into walking/rambling it isn't too rough. One star docked because of the weather
