An excellent service from start to finish on a stunning stable door for my seventeenth-century cottage. I really appreciated their knowledge of the products which they craft from scratch, and the detailed information which they were more happy to send me on the specifics of the door and locks etc in the early stage of design. It was the best customer service experience of my life. The door is really special, installed with a great deal of care. It was well worth the investment. I whole heartedly recommend this company.l for anyone who wants to improve the character of their home, but especially to people with historic houses.

Richard James fitted two new windows in our house, the oldest house (over 100yrs old) in Darras Hall. My wife and I were delighted. We were worried that the surrounds and wallpaper would be damaged or stained. However, they were left in pristine condition, and I stand and admire the workmanship. Over the past 18 months I have had a bay window and french door manufactured in accoya by Richard James.
