Man behind the counter was rude and unhelpful. We enquired about bikes to hire on the off chance, we knew they were likely to be fully booked but he just rudely told us that there were non available.

We were staying at Wild Northumbrian in Thorneyburn and The Bike Place happily dropped our bikes for us and also collected them the following day. The price was fair and the service received was excellent. The bikes were amazing too, some really good DiamondBacks for only 25 a day. We spoke to the guy who dropped the bikes off and he was really friendly and advised us of some trails we could go on - and we did and love it. Would definitely recommend The Bike Place!
