Nice real fire, great homemade food and very enjoyable selection of drinks. Staff we're really friendly and incredibly helpful. Entertaining bingo too. We loved this place as it lived up to all our hopes for a country pub on a drizzly day.

It's got a lovely outside eating area which is the stuff of picture postcards. The post covid opening menu was too samey. Don't get me wrong, the food is tasty enough but not much variety. Staff were lovely & the ordering system worked a treat.

Stopped here for drinks after a walk around Horsey Gap. Very friendly place and a nice range of beers. Good location on River with boats moored on three sides of the pub. Seating area outside for those warm sunny days. We sat inside near to the log fire .

Camped in pub carpark in exchange for having a pub meal. Went kayaking in the morning 4 slipway fee. Great peaceful place with 24hr loos.

Friendly service, food was good, especially the homemade steak and ale pie. The decor is a bit past its best. We sat outside by the broads in afternoon, plenty of tables. Not expensive.

I'll start with the positive bits, the pub has a good social distancing plan in place. Though it gets a bit clogged at the 'meet and great' point as people as arriving there, and ordering food and drinks, and waiting to use the toilets. The location is lovely and very picturesque. Unfortunately the food was not good. We ordered burger and chips, the haddock (which was good) and a jacket potato. The burger just was not good. For the cost I would expect something much nicer. It was basically just two shop bought burgers in a bun. It was very greasy and didn't even come with lettuce and tomato. It was just really disappointing. My daughter had the jacket potato and it was tiny. If you just want a quick pint, then this is a nice pub to go too. But if you want a nice pub meal, then I wouldnt bother.

Well organised Covid secure pub. Nice ales. Food looked nice. Hoped to park camper overnight but they were full. Understandable as gorgeous setting.

Great pub! Absolutely wonderful social distancing for ordering and getting served. Doesn't feel forced, just natural. I had a cheesy jacket potato and it was delicious. We sat under the marquee and it was nice and sheltered but still open. Would definitely reccomend
