Highly recommend this place. You'll be surprised as soon as you enter. They do speak English and will tell you what you are eating. Their tomato mousse, it's out of this world (will remember it for the rest of my life). Excellent service and relaxing atmosphere.

I love this place so much! The fall season dinner course was delightful! A nice traditional Japanese food experience. If you are allergic to anything, tell the staff and the chef will change the dish for you. For example, I can't eat raw meat so the chef changed the sashimi for a very tasty tofu dish. The service is 10/10. Would love to come back again if I have a chance to visit Kyoto next time.
The whole foods are really perfect. You can keep smile after eating. And I'm really glad to eat first Japanese course in here. Super recommend!
We celebrated our wedding in this wonderful restaurant and the food and staff members were incredible. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Excellent meal in a nice traditional Kyoto house type setting. Good wait staff.
