I called early this am to try to figure out how to pre-sign for a package. Jock (might not have the name correct) was helpful, professional and caring. He resolved my issue immediately and with a good sense of humor with reagrd to my limited tech experience. Could not be happier

First off let me say that our regular driver Randy M. is as good as they get. He always delivers our packages right to our house which is down a long driveway. He sports a great attitude and UPS should be very proud of him representing their company! However his off and on replacement drivers are usually very lazy. Not all of them but some. They are very inconsistent. Several times they must be running behind or just plain lazy and they put our packages at our driveway entrance. The biggest issue is theft and weather since we cannot see the packages since our drive is long and our house is a lot lower than the road. Yesterday they had a temporary driver and they left an expensive brand new cell phone at the end of our drive. It rained several inches and the exterior box had collapsed. Thank goodness the actual phone box's clear wrap kept the water out. Also this phone could have been easily stolen! I called the UPS service center and was given she said it was a different driver. So do temporary drivers not supposed to deliver packages to the door? Are they supposed to leave deliveries where someone can simply walk 10 steps and steal them. I don't think so. We have notified UPS in the past about this same issue. They always say they will tell the driver and make a note. But yet it repeats. Most of the time we don't even say anything. But leaving my new cell phone in the rain just ticked me off! I will now call UPS and leave a review each and every time this happens.
