Today was the first time in months I had been there since lockdown restrictions. Staff were very friendly helpful and attentive. The stone baked pizza that we had was absolutely delicious. It was really fresh tasting and it was also interesting knowing that people was making our pizzas on the oven as we were sat outside. The salad I had was really delicious and I loved the honey dressing on it. We had cutlery as well as having the staff ordering from us from a menu which added to the magical experience, instead of being served from a cardboard box and having a app that you have to order from as in some pubs I have recently visited after restrictions eased. I would really recommend everything about coming here.

Loved this place, was greeted by Katelyn & made very welcome on a quiet Wednesday afternoon in early May. Menu has something to satisfy everyone, with a one or two course option. I has sole to start & then the Beef & Ale pie. My partner Sarah didn't have a starter, had the pie too & then sticky toffee pudding with Custard. The portions were just the right size, the pie had short crust pastry & a Cock on the crust which was held in a pie dish. The vegetables were perfectly cooked. The bar is well stocked, with Craft Ales & all the favourites. A good selection of Hard Liquor & wines too. The locals were charming & the Staff so lovely. I will be visiting again & again

Amazing place, food was godlike, just look at it! Barmaid was lovely as well, had great suggestions on local walks and was very helpful. Faultless service and incredible food, definitely will go again!!

Fabulous pub with really friendly and accommodating staff. My husband had "the best pie in years" last week so we came back with his dad who agreed. Delicious!
