Absolutely horrific solicitors how they are still trading is beyond belief! I would never ever purchase a property where our sellers are using Thorneycroft ever AGAIN! 7 months down the line and we are still NOT in our house because they are incompetent in responding to emails and will not accept calls from our solicitors. The whole buying experience is already stressful enough but if you want a sure fire way of losing a buyer try these guys. Yes they only charge a one off fee but you get what you pay for and the service is non-existent. If you want to sell your house quickly and efficiently then AVOID AVOID AVOID they will easily cost you the sale! Luckily for us we’ve been in contact with our seller directly whose been great and if we weren’t in touch with her I think we would have pulled out from the sale the only reason things have moved along is because of the work we have had to do ourselves if not I have no idea how much worse it could have gotten (dread to think). Please take my advice and save yourselves all the stress and heartache in the long run. We’re using SAS Daniels in Congleton (have Macc and Stockport branches) and they have been great and guess what you can actually speak to someone there!
