Unfortunately the reservoir is drained at the moment but Whaley Bridge is nearby and there are one or two pubs, chippys, and antique shops...etc.

A wonderful place to swim, have the doggie swim, go out paddle boarding, or even go join the sailing club (I think that's what it is!) There are some lovely walks around it too. A great place for everyone!

Great sailing club, if you join you can store your boats and canoes here, the reservoir is great for people on boats and people just swimming. I always like to go there on a bodyboard and travel across the resivoir. Beautiful scenery as well, it's a common fishing lake and the people sailing are very nice. They do races every now and again, great club for kids and adults alike.

Great little sailing club close to the centre of Whaley Bridge. Very friendly atmosphere, lots of helpful members, new clubhouse and refurbished changing rooms. RYA training centre offering courses for new and experienced sailors, young and old.
