Really nice place. Was on the Ace scaffolding gang last summer. Will be great after lockdown. The real ale shop is fantastic a massive selection of beers and wines. And if you like cheese you will be spoilt for choice. Taking the farther in law next week.

Pleasant stop off from our walk, dog friendly. Would be nice to spend an evening there when it's safe to go out again of course here's hoping.

Brilliant selection of cheeses as well as beers, wines and Trappist beer at the Cheese Wheel. Great to see part of an historic mill being put to use too. Well worth popping in on your walk along the millennium walkway.

A great place to call for a coffee and a bite. A converted mill, it's full of quirky character. Friendly staff too.

Great place for a walk even though it was raining. There's also a small museum with a little cafe room and shop. The museum has a little simulated mine kids can crawl through. The lady there was very helpful and told us about what the mill is currently used for. We spent about an hour and a half there but would've explored more had the weather been better. Local shops were closed (it was a Sunday). Recommend the millennium walkway.
