I found Simplicity Sofas when I was searching online for American-made sofas. The website was informative, and the company had mostly 5 star reviews. My son lives in Greensboro, so on a visit 4 years ago, we went to Simplicity. I bought a floor model sofa and a love seat that I was looking for, and ordered a couch to match the love seat (lucky me - the floor models turn over quickly so they are like new, but with a nice discount). . Delivery was fast and the furniture was exceptionally well packed. It took much longer to unpack them as it took to assemble them! Assembly was fast and easy. I decided to wait a few years before writing a review so I could describe how they wore. No kids or pets, but we use them every day a lot (2 retirees) and they look like new and are as sturdy as new. Any spills or food cleans off it seconds with warm water only. All interactions with the staff and owner were lovely. I had asked for about 15 fabric samples over the months before I bought. When I returned them, the staff were surprised; apparently this was a first. I couldn't be happier with the quality and workmanship! 5 stars for everything!

I ordered a living room set from Simplicity and all I can say is unbelievable. From the minute of my order until I finally sat on it I was impressed. My family has been in the Upholstering Business for over 85 years. We closed the business last year. I grew up Re-Upholstering furniture. Simplicity's frames, quality of upholstering and attention to detail can not be found today. Their Solid Wood frames are solid wood. Their fabrics are top quality. We had issues getting a delivery truck down my street. The company offered to pay the additional delivery charges and did. NEVER GO TO A FURNITURE RETAILER AGAIN....Simplicity is one call away from you having a PERFECT product. I still can't find any flaws with the furniture. I look every day. Thank you Simplicity. Your run your business like the good old days....Quality, Exceptional Service and you stand by your work. I had an employee order a sectional from the company and the same experience. However; one stick looked bad and simplicity sent her an entire new arm. UNBELIEVABLE. Jeff M

Nice sofa if you can get through the hassle of actually getting one delivered without too many blood pressure spikes. The company insisted that all money be paid upfront and then pushed back estimated delivery dates over and over, without letting me know that THEY knew that there will be delays.The salesman I was dealing with was not truthful, and it wasn't until I contested the charge with my credit card company that the sofa's delivery date magically materialized.Kudos to Martha for stepping in, albeit too late to salvage terrible dealings with Jeff. I wouldn't deal with this company again; it was just too aggravating a process.

I received my sofa and chairs after waiting a month -- because of hurricane Florence -- for their delivery. The furniture was more than worth the wait. It arrived in excellent condition and was everything I had learned to expect from Simplicity Sofas. I had already received a sleep sofa and ottoman which were handsomely crafted and upholstered. The sofa and chairs were equally well-constructed and upholstered, the sofa in a crisp white canvas and the chairs in a white and indigo ticking stripe. Especially noteworthy is that the striped fabric on the chairs was fitted perfectly, so that its pattern flowed uninterruptedly across the entire chair. I could not have been more pleased with the expertise of this work. Pillows in the white and blue ticking stripe completed the look. I love the ensemble and am looking forward to sharing it with friends and family.. I was worried about the delivery of the shipment because of the long wait, but Jeff kept me informed, checking its delivery status and providing details throughout the waiting period. His support, from beginning to end, was consistently helpful and reassuring, for which I was thankful. I had already recommended Simplicity Sofas to friends and family after receiving the sleep sofa and ottoman. I shall continue to sing their praises on the heels of my current experience.

The customer service at Simplicity Sofas is phenomenal. I didn’t think companies like this still existed. I’ve had a Megan sleeper sofa for about 6-7 years, it is still comfy and in great shape despite constant wear from two cats, me, and many houseguests. Not only was delivery and assembly easy and efficient, but every emailed question is answered quickly and thoroughly. The free fabric swatches were a big help in choosing a slipcover— and the stain-resistant, pet-friendly fabric is just as advertised.
