Double AA Ron
I like that it's only two floors, so no need to use the elevator, if you're well, able, and not too lazy to use the stairs. They don't have a breakfast room open like the Peavine accross the street, but apparently they have some things you can grab and go from the front desk. I was advised upon check inn that breakfast starts at 6, but if I was going to work earlier, I could get it earlier. Told the hotel that checked me in that I have to leave at five thirty, and she said that wouldn't be an issue.
The guy at the desk on the morning however, would not even give me a coffee. In all fairness though, he WAS quite busy playing on his personal phone.
They do however have a restaurant here, while the one at the Peavine is closed due to covid. The restraunt /lounge is open to the public, and I agree there just once. It was wing Wednesday, so you could get a pound of wings for seven bucks, so took took two orders to my room. They were quite good, and the server was friendly and helpful.
The bedding is seemingly pretty new compared to some places, and looks and feels good.
The tv in the room is easy to get to, to plug in your HDMI, and there's lots of counter space in the bathrrom for your travel kit and stuff.
There's also a handy counter space right when you walk in, where you could set some groceries, or your purse, and such.
There's a table and chairs instead of a desk, but it works as a desk just fine.
Robbie at the front desk is really nice and outgoing, and just generally kind and cheerful.
The wireless speed is awful, not even 1 Mbps, which I remember from years ago also, but aside from that issue, the rooms are fine for me, and the Peavine is just too far of a walk to stores and services, for my liking.
Overall, it's functional space, and I'd stay again.
