I needed work done on some smoked alloys, so never easy, the results are great and look fantastic. They are an old style business, meaning they take pride in their work, the wheels have to look identical next to each other when a customer wouldn't notice when on the car. They were flexible to turnaround quickly for me and were very good on the cost also. I was hugely impressed with how they dealt with me and also the work on my wheels.

If I could give a negative rating, I would. I took the wheel to be repaired in December, it had one crack, and two previous repairs. They fixed it, charging me for three repairs. It re-cracked in two of these repairs - the second time I took the car out after getting it repaired! They offer a 6 month guarantee, but when I took the wheel in, they said that the cracks were not on the weld, so they were new cracks (they were within 3mm of the new welds). He then charged me for new welds. When I went to pick the wheel up, he said that the metal was too thin, and I need a full beading done, this will cost a lot more. I felt I had no choice, he assured me that the welds would be better than the original metal of the factory - he had scanning electron microscope images to show this! He also said that if I don't do this, then the wheel can collapse and the car could lose control! As a goodwill gesture, he would not charge me for the second repairs, just the beading (the second repairs should have been in the guarantee!!) Anyway, I cannot get this alloy anymore, so I decided to have it done. When I came to paying, he was insistent to make me pay for the second repairs - the ones that he told me would be free! Then he had the cheek to offer a discount if I wanted it diamond cut again! Anyway, I paid it, swearing to never go back again. I was going to write this review back then, but then last week (3 months after the beading) The same alloy cracked in 4 places - see photos. You can even see the marks they left on the wheel when they had it in! I would never go here to have your wheels done, there are plenty of other places in Maidenhead and Slough with good reputations. I am now buying a full new set of alloys, having wasted about 600 and countless hours in travel time.

Use them for welding, nothing else Took an AM Vantage to them to repair two cracks on an alloy. As far as I am aware they did a good job on these. Unfortunately, the alloy refurbishment was poor - both finish and service. The paint work finish was very poor. There were numerous marks within the finish. That's unacceptable and poor quality. They also, despite warning, put the wheel specific pressure sensors on the wrong wheels, despite warning. I returned the car to them on an agreed date, for them to fix this. I offered to assist, they refused. I waited in a coffee shop for 5 hours, phoned a couple of times, they were \working on it\. I walked back as it was near closing time...they had not even started it, they didn't have the time. Could I bring it back, they knew I lived 1hr drive away. Most disappointing treatment. Use them for a weld repair, but get the bare wheel sent to them. Have someone else do the rest of the process.
