Attentive service, knowledgeable staff and high quality products. It is more on the expensive end of outdoors equipment shops but you really get what you pay for. My last pair of walking boots from Blacks lasted me 10 years, hopefully this new pair do the same!

Great outdoor shop, wide range of brands. Last time I bought a hiking boots and the Blacks staff were very helpful, patient and professional. Those boots are just amazing, fits great, already tested in Lakes District and in Wales. Images: Berghaus hiking boots, protective bees wax applied(darker colour)

Staff just chatting at counter. Nobody came near me in the 20mins I was in there. Which was good because I had plenty of time to examine all the rucksacks before making a decision. Good discount 70 to 37.
