The chicken from Pepes was rubbery, bloody and overall disgusting. Customer service was trash. We were told they never get complaints and it was impossible for the chicken to look like that. We sent them these very photos. We recieved no apology. I wouldn't serve this to my worst enemy This place needs to go

Just had my veggie meal from Pepe's High Wycombe. To sum up the whole experience in few words would be \service with a nice smile\. Despite of being close to my home I had never tried them before so I decided to give it a go. When I rang the shop to place an order a very friendly and courteous lady spoke to me. Upon collection, the same lady (I think) served me with a great smile on her face. Food is tasty, shop is nice & clean, and I feel the prices are reasonable. All in all very happy with my dinner choice.
Man who was cooking the chicken and prepping the food was wearing gloves but too busy socialising with people at the back who wasn't wearing protective hygiene clothing. Also I didn't see him changing his gloves after cooking and handing greasy spatulas and then when on to assembling the food. Overall hygiene was 2/10. Won't be going there!
