We walked here across The Valley from Bella Vista and what a great destination it turned out to be. Greeted with a warm welcome from all the staff and the new owner who had recently taken over. She recommended our dishes which didn't disappoint. A lovely relaxed atmosphere but Covid compliant at all times. We will be back - thoroughly recommend

Stumbled upon this fantastic pub on one of my Chiltern walks. Great family managed pub with absolutely charming service. Very helpful ownership and good food options. The building doesn't look very countryside pub ready but the service and for makes up for it. Fantastic stop if you are around.

First visit to the boot and well defo be going back. Good food & Nice atmosphere
Very comfortable pub with a great menu and delicious food. We turned up a few hours before the bonfire and fireworks next door and despite it being busy they were happy for us to eat at the bar which suited us fine. Had a fantastic roast beef dinner. Service was great, we weren't rushed. Would definitely try again.
