I have been coming to West Bay House for several years now, and it never ceases to amaze me. It is a magical place, unlike any cottage I have ever been too. The land is serene, lush, and seemingly untouched. Richard and the whole Pilacinski family are responsive, welcoming, and always accommodating. The lake is the perfect spot for any water activity, and unlike many other places, is free from traffic. Every summer I look forward to heading to West Bay, and can’t say enough great things about it. If you’re looking for a place to relax and have fun this summer, look no further. Highly recommend!

We've been to West Bay House 2 years and are going back this summer for 3 weeks. It's a perfect place for families with kids. It's very quiet and calm and Richard is a great host. The sandy beach is perfect for little kids who want to splash around in the shallow water. It feels like an authentic Northern Ontario getaway without all the Muskoka craziness. There's lots of water activities and volleyball. Tons of nature (the kids watched snapping turtles lay eggs last year). Absolutely recommend this place.
Fantastic place for a vacation! Very clean and calm atmosphere. Not far from Bancroft if you need to pick something up but far enough away to make it feel like a little piece of paradise! The Pilacinski family has done a wonderful job making West Bay House the best vacation spot on Baptiste Lake.
Myself and several friends discovered West Bay House a number of years ago and have been coming back every summer since. Richard has always been easy to get a hold of, friendly, and extremely helpful. The cottages are located in a quiet, calm, bay with nearly no neighboring boat traffic making the location perfect for canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, fishing, and relaxing by the water. We have stayed in several different cottages at West Bay House over the years and each one has been clean upon our arrival and provided for an enjoyable stay. I would recommend this place to families and groups of friends alike. I can’t say enough good things about the time I have spent here.
A group of friends and I had a wonderful weekend. The property is stunning. Richard was a great host and responded right away with any questions we had. We will definitely be coming back.
