Check out their Indeed ad for a part time “Superhero” client service coordinator. They are promoting toxic work culture in veterinary medicine. The ad was fairly shocking and unprofessional. It might not seem crazy to most people, but if you’ve worked in veterinary medicine before, you’d see this as a HUGE red flag. I just felt the strong need to share this. “Job Summary If you can ANSWER A PHONE at the speed of light, type at the speed of sound when making an appointment with 100% accuracy, WHILE a dog is barking in one ear and a client is yelling at her 4 kids and the dog for \messing in the floor\ PLEASE FILL OUT AN APPLICATION!!! If you love cats and dogs and their people, enjoy never having the same day twice, then this positionwas MADE for you! We have a great staff that enjoys working together. Send a resume and come join the fun! Every other Saturday morning is required for this position with 20-25 hrs. Total. **Prefer 1-2 yrs. of veterinary reception experience. Job description is on our website under employment opportunities. Job Type: Part-time Pay: 10.00 - 14.00 per hour”

Even after moving from Charlotte, we made the drive out to have our dog cared for by Dr. Hight because we couldn't find the same level of care and kindness anywhere else. From the way they are upfront about all options and costs before assuming care costs, to the kind way they care about your pet and their families, I never had to worry about my Socks being treated here. They broke the news to us about Socks' cancer in a loving and supportive way and gave him the best care possible up until his passing. It really made the difference to know we had REAL dependable care for him. I will always be grateful for this place and highly recommend them to all pet owners!! When the time comes for us to have another fur baby after grieving Socks, we 1000% will be back here. Thank you, Dr. Hight!

I needed a new vet close to campus and Dr. Hight and all the staff have been incredible. Dr. Hight has gone above and beyond every time to help my furr babies. I highly recommend Hight Veterinary Hospital for your pets. It has been a great experience each time and very affordable for the service they give! I am so grateful to them and all they have done for my pets.

Great quality vet!! My dog is usually very anxious when it comes to being around other dogs and new people but they made her feel so welcome and the vet that came out to get Sky from my car was super nice, sadly I did not catch her name. Their prices are upfront and there are no hidden fees, I definitely recommend Hight Veterinary :D!!
