They're more than happy to pull you over but forget to cite you with the reason for the stop! So your case will probably be quick and painless. Looking for a little more from these folks?? Don't bother, they have no desire to tell you anything. But they love to play phone tag! Call and ask them a question and they'll hang up, call back and you'll get a different person! They love to sit 6-8 of their cars in a row at small events to make it seem like your tax payer money is actually going to something productive! So if you're looking for something to do on your day off or lunch break just drive past one of these guys and they'll be more than haply to take you to jail and forget about your paperwork!!

I had the pleasure of being stopped today (not that I wanted to be stopped) in Myrtle Beach by Trooper Jones of the Highway Patrol. Trooper Jones was very professional, informative and courteous. I just felt with all the negative comments about law enforcement in the country today I would take the time to let his superiors know that he is a class act trooper.
Glorified Tax collectors with a badge who target out of state tags. It would be nice if law enforcement actually did their job to protect and serve.
I'm from Virginia. I broke a piston in my car and was stranded in the middle of the night. The officers kept me company and even helped to push my car to a safe parking space so it wouldn't be in the way or get towed immediately. Very friendly, didn't harass me at all during the encounter. Even gave me advice.
Had an issue with a ticket that I received a year ago along with an accident that I was found at fault for even though the other guy ran the stop sign. I explained the situation to SGT. Trevathan who was extremely helpful at getting both removed. Everyone's so quick to point out when an officer does something wrong, but never when they do anything right. Thanks for the help!
