Ltd. is rated 2 out of 5 in the category high performance power tools in Australia. Ever since 1948, we've been designing and developing high performance power tools. We have committed to accelerate growth alongside a dynamic new partner as we pursue our goal to become a global leader in power tools. As part of this new chapter, our former brand, “HITACHI,” is now a new brand known as “HiKOKI." Our company’s success rests upon three core pillars: highly innovative technology, high reliability, and strong business growth. The first pillar - highly innovative technology - is the foundation in everything we create and deliver for our customers. Our industry-leading technological prowess has been cultivated over the decades and continues today. We currently hold over 2,500 patented technologies, many of which have earned prestigious awards around the world. That’s why the “Hi” in the “HiKOKI” brand name refers to our “highly innovative technologies.” High reliability is the second pillar. For 70 years, we have delivered products which consistently meet the needs of our customers at the point of purchase and over time. We have achieved this by providing globally recognized “Japanese-quality” as well as earnest service, all in pursuit of customer satisfaction and convenience. The third pillar supporting our company is strong business growth. We have gained a robust partner in KKR, one of the world’s preeminent private equity firms, which has enabled us to become more aggressive than ever – not only in Japan, but also in the global market. Age-old Japanese wisdom has it that to accomplish something important, we must apply heart, technique and physical ability. We engage these essential elements in our pursuit of reliability, technological advancement and growth in building a global organization and developing our businesses.

Hikoki H65SB3 The product description doesn’t match the actual product. I been convinced by Sydney tools that this product is the best on the market which there is actually not a good review about this tool online. I needed to buy a demolition hammer for construction work and Unfortunately I was fooled by Sydney tools staff that this is the best on the market and it’s much more powerful than my current tools Hilti TE1000 or makita. With no word of lie the brand new machine was weaker than 10 years old Hilti which on technical specifications the Hilti brand new weights 12.6 kg with impact of 26 J. They sell the Hikoki tool with description of 45 J and weight of 16 kg. I could not believe what I was seeing. Please please don’t buy this product as you have to replace it very quick. The machine started to leak oil after 2 hours of work not only from the bit which is common when the machine is over heated but also from the joint. I just throw 1200 in the bin.

Searched internet for a service centre for Hitachi and Hikoki / Hitachi in Seven Hills came up as my closest from Dural. I went out and pushed the service buzzer and a lady came out and gave me a business card and said I need to take it to The Rewind Specialists 2 km down the road. After 3.3 km in the pouring rain, I arrived to this dodgy looking out of the way shop (see photo). Went to the door and it was closed at midday. I went home soaking wet and called service centre who said I didn't know they were closed and I asked why does your website give information that Hikoki will service when Hikoki will not and she hung up on me. I called back and spoke to Jennifer and when I explained I was hung up on, she went to investigate then came back and hung up on my too. I called customer service and spoke to Eddie. He was wonderful and apologised for the incompetency of the service centre. He explained that the service manager had left. Eddie has arranged for the repair to be collected from Hardware and General in Dural, saving me another wasted day.
