It's an old hotel with a typical German decor. The bar serves all sorts of drinks. We stay here whenever we are in Hildesheim, which must be every two or three years. Service is cheerful and friendly and the food us good at breakfast time. I assume the standard will be the same at other meals. Lots of parking for your car. Rooms are well serviced, very clean and comfortable. One downside - no provision for making a hot drink in your room but the staff will serve you one in the bar until late at night. Great place to stay.

Very nice - excellent restaurant. We stayed there for one night and liked it very much. Excellent food and plenty of good beer. Friendly, helpful staff. Simple room with no frills and a very good experience in the restaurant. I would go again just for the restaurant.
Good place to have dinner, stay the night and have breakfast. Quiet rooms even with a party going on upstairs. Lovely and very friendly staff! Don't drink the local Schnapps though! It is really terrible! ;-)
a very nice restaurant some 4 km from the town center, easy to get here by bike. visited a wedding celebration here - everything went fine, the staff was nice and the banquette done well. the hotel rooms are also quite cozy.
After a requem and burial service on a cold rainy day, we were invited to a midday snack. The open sandwiches were dry, prepared with almost no butter. Cooked ham was tasteless.... Disappointing meal.

I am here for the second time and the food here is exceptioneel good again. Nice need rooms and friendly personal. 9 out of 10.
