Beautiful walks and a house full of history and stories going back for centuries. Great place to spend a few hours. The tour was very informative and our guide, Elizabeth was great with the children. Staff were incredibly attentive all round. Worth a visit.

Nice new tea rooms. Plenty of gardening to see. Not too exotic the hobby gardener will be able to relate to the planting.

Family visit on 10th August 2019 - what an amazing day we had. The tour of the castle was brilliant, the grounds amazing, the Horrible Histories show wonderful and the staff on site - well nothing was too much hassle, the guides, security and hosts were all knowledgeable and willing to take the time to chat. The Cafe had lovely food and even at lunchtime coped with the influx. Will definitely be back.
