Good food, fair price, great friendly service. Tucked away attached to a gas station like a hidden Gem. The fish and fried clams are amazing. Coleslaw and tartar sauce are on point. If you want a good feed without the frills and be greeted with a friendly smile a d genuine kindness hit this spot.
The service was excellent!! Had fish an chips and they were so good. Tried the scallops and they were cooked perfectly!! We will be back for sure!!
Have the open face roast beef extra gravy.... You will not be disappointed.
Never recommend this place. There was only 3 tables busy in the diner when we arrived. We waited 15 min to order another 15 min for our drinks and they had to ask again what it was that we ordered. Clams were tough and over cooked brought fries instead of sweet potato fries. Was given our bill of 51 that was not ours 12.69 more than we should have and still had wrong items on bill. There were 2 people who came in for takeout burgers after us but got there food first and they returned after going to their car stating there order was wrong and had to wait again for there food. They got there second correct order before we had gotten our food. Recommend hiring more staff and write down your orders and save us all some wasted time. Very unhappy customer and no discount given when asked or offered!
My first time here. Didn’t know this little Jen was in Hillsborough. We had the mozza burger platters special of the day. O M G!!!!! The best burger I’ve had in a long time. Tasty hot food, friendly staff, and ice cold pop. I’ll definitely be back. Amazing place. Good job guys, KEEP IT UP!!!!!
We were there October 2020. My husband being an avid fish and chip guy, loved the homemade thin battered fish with herbs that you could see in the batter ( most places he just peels the batter off) and the fresh on spot tartar sauce was delicious! I had the mozza burger which was delicious and filling with a Caesar salad side. We shared a piece of their homemade S’mores cheesecake. It was big and very good, would have liked to see the marshmallows toasted, but overall tasty.. Service was quick, friendly and she even got us a roll right away before ordering as my hubbie is a diabetic and needed something to eat fast. Would definitely recommend!
Food is great. It's a diner, so one should expect diner food and ambiance. However, this one has local fresh seafood on the menu. The fish and chips were fantastic. The fish and fries were the perfect crispness and golden colour, and were not too greasy. I loved the lobster roll too. It was tasty and fresh, and the bun was the perfect moistness. It's not a fancy place by any means, but it's a good place to stop if you want something authentically local. The outside patio has a nice view too.
