We purchased 14 Survivor windows from a local discount home center in 2016. We had the windows professionally installed. After two years a couple of the seals let go and we got mildew on the inside of the glass on the slider and stationary sides of a couple of windows. I called Survivor, talked with customer service,. They asked for a copy of the receipt (as any other company would) and photo's of the problems (as I expected they would), I emailed the info and within a couple of weeks they sent someone all the way from NJ to my home (roughly 6 hours away) to replace my windows. It took the tech about an hour or so. We are very pleased with the windows and the service from Survivor has been great! It's now 2020 and another window has an issue and they are replacing that window too!! I am very happy with Survivor and that they stand behind their products.

This company does not stand behind their product when there is a problem. We did a large remodel several years ago and have nothing but issues with failed seals on multiple windows. They changed their name to avoid warranty work-fortunately the contractor and building supply company owner stepped up. It took 6 tries to get one sash rebuilt correctly. Grids were crooked-they did not align with the lower sash-the seal failed a second time. What a waste of time and money.

A Vinyl Window Manufacturer in Hillside NJ. Used to be located in Elizabeth. They are brand by the same name. Their primary seller is Contractor Direct Windows, a nearby window wholesaler. Quality wise, they are very good windows as far as Vinyl windows go. That's a good comprise in value per price compared to Aluminum and Wood Windows in the market which are vastly more expensive. So far the windows have been an improvement compared to the brand already installed in my home. They are also cheaper then Anderson and several other competing brands but at a real good price It's only unfortunate that they are limited to the tri-state area. My suggestion with Windows is to get the Lowe Argon gas stuff included. I don't know why it isn't standard in the state of NJ to have such windows, but they really do lower the U value and that helps a ton with insulation on my third floor rooms during seasons. Shop around if you like but the brand hasn't let me down thus far and I'm pretty glad they give a 20 year warranty on this windows, which you need with Vinyl.

I spoke to Survivor 2 on several occasions. I sent them pictures and the labels from my windows. Spoke to them with my installer as well (who does not use them anymore) Even at that point they still wouldn't do anything but charge me to ship window panes that I would have to have glazed and put into the existing sashes myself. They are saying they would do that IF I sent a receipt confirming I was the original owner. That after being on the phone with them and my contractor who bought the windows. They DO NOT care that 3 of their 7 windows failed. They are the worst company I have EVER dealt with in my 43 years. I will NEVER buy another window from Survivor 2!! Ridiculous!!!
