Haven't eaten here since PreCovid times. Reservations were made, but our wait time was still 20 minutes. They were short staffed so the food took almost an hour to come although our service was excellent! Our server was attentive, apologetic and kind. Food was more than tasty and hit just right on a Friday night. Making a Reservation is a must.

Only reason I'm okay with giving this place one star is that the food was actually good. However, I think we were treated badly for an illogical reason. Both the employee and the owner were of the same mind and they didn't seem to know how to deal with problems based on the situation/context. When you deal with the public everyday, and lots of them, problems and mix-ups are bound to occur, so you have to learn how to think outside the box and look up from your set script when the need arises . . . and they didn't . . . even though the need arose. In the end, they didn't even try to remedy the sitauaton and we walked away with a loss. I will say though that no one raised their voices at us or spoke rudely. We were just wronged.

First time here and it was all good! I got the Lunch Combo (sesame chicken and beef teriyaki) and it was very good! Along with the miso soup, authentic and hit the spot. I’ll be back to try the tonkatsu and sashimi next time! So Ono!! Mahalo for the good eats...

Valentines night. Awesome experience!!Great service great atmosphere. The server was very attentive she made sure if i wanted refills at the appropriate time. Just all around spectacular service. I love the background live music. Also they are very safe with the covid rules with taking of temp at the door before letting you in. Asking the covid health questions. Handsanitizer station at the entrance. Tables the appropriate distance from eachother. Even the owner took a quick visit at each table to check if everything was okay which is awesome to see someone that actually takes care of his spot.

If I could give a zero star I totally would. I waited an hour and a half waiting for my food which I ordered to go and whenever I reminded the girl at the front she would try and ignore me and even yell at me. That’s not the only thing though, the food tasted terrible. It was full of MSG so in case you have an allergy to that, don’t order a thing and everything reeked of urine and baby wipes. I will never come here again.

The food is okay. Honestly, its just a little overpriced for what it is and for what is available in the area. Unfortunately we ended up with a waitress that seemed less than happy to wait on us, the others that brought food to the table had no idea what food went to what position, though the tickets clearly show positions. We had a party of 7 but the only options for credit cards is a max of 3 cards and it has to be split evenly. We had cash for four people, but had to split the tab evenly with three cards and divy out cash to each other. It's not the end of the world, but for these prices, service should be a given. I was almost surprised we weren't asked to bus our own tables. This was my second time here. It is also my last.
