This was our first time at Hercules. The building is very pretty, clean and nicely decorated. The food was tasty and the staff was very attentive. We had tomato and basil soup will freshly baked roll, one fish and chips and one slow braised beef stew with cheddar mash, red cabbage and suet cobbler. We thought it’s well worth the money. Definitely will come back.

Found this place on accident one day as I rode past it and thought it looked nice. So I took my fiancée for an evening meal. I am so very glad I did. The food is absolutely amazing, and possibly the best meal we've ever eaten. The chef is brilliant, and walks the restaurant getting feedback on his work. He's fantastic and certainly knows how to cook food beautifully. It takes a confident chef to do what he does and come out and talk with the customers. Also, the waiting staff were really lovely too. Very polite and efficient. We will definitely return soon. What a fantastic find. Thank you so much.
Excellent Friday lunch. The food was of a very high standard of taste and presentation, the service was quick and friendly. The lunchtime offer is very good value and generous portions.
A wonderful a la carte restaurant. Their pate is just pure perfection. They also do some really good midweek deals. We love their sticky toffee pudding too.
Fantastic food served in a tastefully renovated old building set in a picturesque corner of Leicestershire. Quality promised on both food and drinks menus and expertly delivered without disappointment with fast and friendly service. Highly recommended.
