Very disappointed. On 2 occasions when missing a delivery, I have not been left the 'sorry I missed you' slip, resulting in not having the tracking number. On the second instance when going to Hinckley Delivery Office, the staff member showed no understanding, insisting that a slip would have been left and that my parcel could not be found without it. Eventually, after reading the email from the supplier saying that it was still at the delivery office, he looked and found my parcel. I was made to feel stupid, as he went on further to say that when I do find the slip, to dispose of it, despite saying it was definitely not left about 5 times already! Poor customer service.

Royal mail in Hinckley is a joke. They rarely delivery on time. Usually 2-3 days late. If you go to the building to collect, the staff make you feel that you have done something wrong by just going there and inconveniencing them.

Such a shame. A lovely old building which housed a rather good post office which was closed and moved to another location, one which is less suited to being a post office than the old one. Nevertheless, rather than close the building and allow it to deteriorate, the place is now used as an undelivered parcel collection shop. Well done the GPO or whoever is responsible.

My post man leaves all the parcel downstairs by the letter boxes. I live in a flat on the 3 floor. So on friday he rang my intercom, which isn't working properly as i can't hear anyone. The postman rings sometimes just to open the door for him so as always i just pressed the button to open the door. Then i opened my flat door and was listening if anyone is walking up but couldn't hear anyone so shut the door and went back to sleep as was after the night shift. Later my friend rang me to ask if i received the parcel as he sent some sanitary items and he got the notification that the parcel was delivered. I told him i haven't received anything and told him that someone rang about that time. Then i went downstairs to check if there is parcel somewhere or at least the note in the letter box but i found nothing. After investigating with the post office they confirmed the parcel was left downstairs by the letter box. Let me mention there is about 12 flats in here and i don't know all the people living here as they keep changing. I do get we have the virus issue right now and avoiding contact is advised but he could at least shout me from downstairs or leave it by the flat door. I also rang my local post office to ask not to leave the parcel that way as this wasn't first time and i was told in a very rude manners that i have no evidence and nothing will be done about it. Let me mention that few times, before virus my post man delivered the parcels donwstairs and signed for them, another time another parcel missing as well and i never got any money refunded and it was signed by post man, not by me but Royal Mail said in their records is signed and delivered so i can't get any refund. I don't even blame the post man because his job is not easy and he needs to work in rain and cold and we are all making mistakes, i rather blame the service who just totally ignores you rather than have the word with a person so this kind of issue won't happen again.
