Whilst the team at SkyePaws are really friendly, are undoubtedly great with dogs, know their stuff and the set up at Church View is really good, in our experience they can be unreliable. When you book work or personal commitments around them having your dog(s) for the day then obviously you can’t afford to be let down altogether or significantly delayed at short notice. Both have happened to us. I think this is an important consideration. SkyePaws have only been looking after our Weimaraner X pups Bertie & Monty for us for a relatively short period but they have now decided that they want to concentrate on smaller dogs. As a result, they have notified us that, with immediate effect, they will no longer be taking Bertie & Monty for day care. This is disappointing to us as a customer as this decision came without any warning, discussion or any offer of even a short period of notice. It was communicated simply by text message on a Sunday afternoon. The fact that we had made commitments on the back of SkyePaws having our two dogs going forward doesn't seem to have even occurred to them. If it did it then I can only assume it doesn't bother them. That is of course their prerogative, Just like it's yours to decide whether you want to risk putting yourself in the position that we now find ourselves in. We thought and were happy that we'd got this really important stuff all sorted with SkyePaws but now we find out we haven't.
