I took a intensive 40 hours Hindi language (intermediate) course with Binit and Sushma, in Varanasi. This experience could not have been more enjoyable and productive. In case you are taking one-on-one tutoring, like myself, the classes are specifically tailored to your current knowledge of the Hindi language. A very consistent and well planned series of lessons takes place after some initial assessment, which rapidly leads you to more advanced levels of proficiency, while carefully consolidating the knowledge you have been acquiring. Binit's classes are more focused on grammatical knowledge, first explaining some specific structure of the language, and then proceeding to illustrate its use with naturalist textbook materials (texts/dialogues). Sushma's classes are mostly focused on developing conversation skills. Overall, you get not only a very complete and well designed Hindi language course, but also a very insightful look into Indian culture, and, last but not least, the privilege of meeting two wonderful human beings.

My wife and I have been taking classes with Binit for about 5 months. He is a very good teacher and has a lot of experience. He's also become our friend in the city. He has a system of teaching that is super helpful. We've found that not all teachers of Hindi in Varanasi have a set curriculum. We definitely recommend using his services.

Very excellent and highly skilled teacher. Binit Ji knows what he is doing! His wife, Sushma, is also a very fine and proficient teacher for those looking for a female teacher. In one month I could read and write Hindi including Devanagari script, and I could hold a primary conversation. Highly highly recommend!
My wife and I spent 6 months here in North India learning Hindi on our own with a learner-driven method and then went and spent 9 days with Binit to start to work through grammatical constructs and to strengthen our reading and writing. He was extremely flexible and fit in as many hours a day as we wanted and/or could handle. As other reviews have said, he was great about finding where we were in the learning process and really challenging our weak areas. I would highly recommend Binit for anyone at any level of their Hindi learning journey, especially if you have a few months of basics under your belt already.
Binit Ji is a wonderful Hindi teacher. Of all the options you have available in Varanasi or the Assi Ghat area, he does the most to make learning basic and intermediate Hindi incredibly enjoyable and understandable in a systematic way. Hi materials and approach break down grammar and vocabulary into easily retainable tidbits and within a month you'll see considerable progress. I would recommend him to any and everyone looking to learn Hindi both because of his skill as a teacher and also because he is one of the kindest and most sincere people that you will ever meet.
Binit is a wonderful teacher because he cares so much about his students. He explains Hindi grammar systematically and then drills your usage of it using conversation. I spent five hours each day with Binit for one month and not only did I learn a lot but also had a wonderful time - the classes flew by. He is open and flexible with any plan or style of learning Hindi, so if you let him know your preferences about what you want to study, he will accommodate them. I strongly recommend Binit as a Hindi teacher!
I had Binit ji as a professor for a semester of beginning hindi while studying abroad in the spring. I knew absolutely nothing going in. Within a few weeks we were able to do basic interactions in Hindi with the locals. And by the end of the semester we were able to communicate effectively. He was very patient as a teacher, but would push us to learn more. He was also very friendly and approachable.
