As an explorer, here's my spin... This place has a large convenience store and a restaurant attached to the building and car wash. Since they are the first petro station when you arrive into Hinton, they normally has their prices couple of cents higher than the ones in town.
Just had a terrible experience here. I spent close to 70 in merchandise after using the washroom. I grabbed 2 small toy surprises for my daughter's. There was no price listed on the toys or the stand they were on. I didn't ask how much they were before I rang them through, my mistake. I noticed on the receipt they were 13.99 each and made the small comment \holy smokes I didn't expect them to be that much.\ But I didn't ask to return them as I knew it was my fault for not asking before paying. As I was walking away, one of the employees yelled \B!TCH\... Nice. Very nice. 10/10 would not recommend.
We stopped to get some gas on the way through the town and I went to the store to get snacks for kids. Good selection, however, be aware! My Visa was charged twice for something that I didn't get. The amount is not huge, so I will consider it to be a 'donation' to the store workers, but the after-taste is not pleasant.
Went to ranchers for the wings. Good wings and a good selection of beers
