I personally enjoyed my time at this Church (currently only a month). It is a lot different then what I grew up in, but their message seems to be focused on Faith in action. They pray, worship, and minister their community to the best of their abilities. As far as I can tell they are very accepting of everyone, but they do something that I haven't seen when I visit most churches. Their pastors and leaders in the church really do tend to their flock to the point where you feel like family. If you are looking to try out a church, or maybe if you're just looking for answers outside of your normal ways; I would suggest you try here. I personally haven't found all my answers yet, but for about 2 hours a week I have found some real peace.

this church was genuinely one of the most terrifying places i’ve ever been to. his tabernacle is a cult and i cannot let my voice be silenced any longer

This place really thought they could hold a 3 day long convention with an extremely little amount of safety precautions during a GLOBAL PANDEMIC. the only things required were a temperature check and a face mask upon entrance (but not required when in the establishment as there are videos and photos of hundreds of people not wearing masks at these events). To make matters worse, everyone was packed in this room with no masks and no social distancing, AND the only available bathrooms were porta potties with no sufficient ways to wash your hands. Need I remind you this is during the Covid-19 pandemic!?!? Asking with this, there were several incidents of verbal harassment (directed at people in the lgbtq community) regarding some members attending and apparently some speakers at the convention as well. After all of this the only statement the church put out about this whole ordeal is that they don't participate in or practice conversion therapy. Nothing about the limited safety precautions and NO APOLOGIES. They endangered everyone attending this event for 3 full days and won't even muster up a sorry. Pathetic. If I could rate it lower I would.

I've been with His Tabernacle Family Church since 2009. I now attend the Regent Bible Institute College of Pastoral Ministry. We have amazing Pastors and amazing teachers. I am a single mother of two children and my children yank me out of bed Sunday mornings to make sure they get to church. Its a church not just for adults, it is what they call it. It's a family church, a church that has a strategic approach, something that reaches everyone in the family. Church is no longer for just Grandma and Grandpa, mom or dad, it's for children and His Tabernacle exemplifies through their ministry and outreach programs, RAGE HT and Mathew 25 and more. I not only am a student at RBI, I'm a survivor of this world. You can go and be preached the Gospel and it can all make sense, but sometimes the world is like a black hole if you're not strong enough in your faith or even if you are sometimes we get sucked in, but our caring ministry teams show they care and will reach out without judgement to see if your family needs anything. They don't do it because they have to, His Tabernacle does it because they LOVE YOU and they care. I recommend His Tabernacle Family Church highly and it is my honor to say I attend. God Bless.
