Had a delicious brunch here. Felt very Covid secure; and I liked being able to order via app/website. Can't rate the staff highly enough for excellent service and friendliness! They came over to ask our opinion of one of the dishes which was new. The food is reasonably priced and excellent quality. Will definitely return here.

So it was news years day late morning and me and my friend were hanging from a heavy news years party. I rang the restaurant to see if they were doing breakfast, well that is when I made my mind up to go, the person on the phone was so cheerful and full of banter and we had a great exchange on how I was feeling rough and needed food, juice and sympathy. One hour later we walked into the restaurant and there he was, big smile and when I asked if he was the guy on the phone he said “are you the guy who needs a pillow” and then came around and gave me hug, hilarious and what customer service. The place was packed as I’m sure you can imagine and I had a simple breakfast of Eggs Benedict and toast, and was also given a free black coffee by one of the waitresses. I have no complaints on the food other than the high price they charge for some extras like over 80p for 1 slice of black pudding, but the service was superb. Great way to start the new year.
I gave the Berro Lounge 4 stars as I usually enjoy the food and atmosphere and anything less would be unfair for this establishment. The Berro is a quirky stylish restaurant that has a good aura, which has been maintained after their Covid alterations, the food is lovely and at reasonable prices. Unfortunately my last visit wasn't quite up to the usual Berro standards. I assume that they were busier than usual, due to the eat out to help out scheme. I have had the lounge burger a few times and have always left satisfied, but this time my plate looked bare! I asked for my Coleslaw, but the waitress replied "that is the Coleslaw" (see photo attached) The burger had a spit of sauce and very little salad. My partners bang bang chicken was also cooked poorly. Please don't let this put you off visiting the Lounge as like most people I only found time to write a review after a bad experience. Lets hope this visit was just a glitch during these unprecedented times.
What's not to love about Berro?? The staff are lovely. The food is great, with an excellent range of veggie/vegan options. The decor is a cosy classic with a twist theme. A diverse mix of staff and customers, very LGBT friendly. One of my favourite places
A few friends and I decided we wanted to try somewhere new to eat, although after all the madness of covid we were all a little nervous! The team at Berro Lounge were absolutely fantastic, the food was delicious and served quickly and the cocktails were so fun and inventive! After such a bad start to 2020, im so glad we chose to visit berro lounge!!! Bring on the Xmas party there!!
Was a big mistake thinking I would enjoy a normal clean decent breakfast. The lattè I got must be the worst coffee bean and the cheapest on the market. Got my breakfast with a long blonde hair on my sausage, they offered to replace my order but waiting so long I just asked them to replace the sausage, which they did in 5 seconds, half cooked and cold. Must say the standard and quality is bad. NEVER see me in that place again.
Vegan menu is great here. Previously had the Beyond Burger and Fries, 5 star. Just had the Vegan BLT with Fries, fantastic. Only negative is that due to the open plan seating, it's quite noisy...
I ordered the Panini Milano with a side of fries. The Panini was very tasty and the ingredients were in good proportion. The fries were cooked to perfection.
