Needing an ear wax removal appointment, I booked an appointment at Hitchin Chiropractic Clinic, even though they were more expensive than other places like Specsavers and Boots, because they had availability sooner. My appointment was originally for Tuesday 27 October 2020, but on Monday 26 October, the day before the appointment, I was contacted and told that the appointment would have to be postponed by a week to Tuesday 3 November. Had I known this was going to happen I would have booked with one of the other places, as they could have provided the same service at the same time but cheaper. I expect high standards when paying high prices, and I am disappointed that there was no backup plan in place to minimise the impact on customers in the event that a key member of staff went off sick.

Have been treated by chiros for over 30 years and Peter for the last 18 months and he is very good. After an extended first appointment to get to know my \quirks\ he now quickly gets to the bottom of things and straightens me out nicely. Given the shape/size of the clinic, the current CV-19 arrangements can seem a little unfriendly with one chair in a large space and the screen, but this is for everyone's protection and does not reflect the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff, who are great. Would, and have to many!, recommend them.
A very disappointing visit to this clinic today, after hearing good reviews, I thought I would get some effective treatment. They have created a complete overreaction on providing a Covid secure environment (treating patents like cattle). On the assessment the practitioner did not fill me with confidence so I decided at this point not to continue with treatment. I left with my details and the back pain.
A very happy experience there
I fractured a vertebrae and, the staff were very sensitive to the fracture. They took x-rays and have been very kind to me. They did not try to manipulate the bones thus not causing any further damage.
