The kindest and most professional vets in Hitchin and the surrounding villages. I can’t recommend Hitchin Vets enough. They have saved my cats on more than one occasion and the compassion they demonstrate sets all of the team at Hitchin Veterinary Surgery apart from others. Genuinely good people who care about their customers and all of the animals they treat.

I have taken Ripley (my dog) here since she was a puppy. Everyone at the practice are warm, welcoming and very attentive. I would highly recommend the practice. I have used several veterinary surgeries in the past but they do not compare to the high standards of Hitchin Veterinary Surgery. They also run a pet care scheme which I have found to be extremely cost effective. I have referred several of my doggy walking friends pooches here.

My first time here with my new Puppy and the receptionist Lauren was very helpful as well as the vet. Everyone seemed to be polite, friendly and helped as much as they could. Everyone was very personable and HVS is now tge only place I will go.

The service we had was fantastic. We had a very poorly guinea pig who was diagnosed with an absess in the middle ear. We thought we may lose him but thanks to the speedy appointment and correct diagnosis he is well on the way to recovery. Thank you again Ann and also a very reasonable price which makes a big difference. :)

Nicest vets you could imagine I only have a dog and some hens, but if there is cause for worry bet your life it will be at a weekend. There is always someone at the end of the phone and the vets are happy to chat and advise even out of hours
