Ordered from her three times during lockdown. This time was not up to standard. Hosomaki not even rolled properly: filling at the edge and falling apart. Usually the standard is much better.

Incredible Japanese food, have got deliveries multiple times during lockdown. Bento boxes and miso soup in particular are just sublime, but then everything we’ve tried has been sublime. My favourite food in Hitchin.

Kazoku is the most consistently excellent restaurants I have ever been to. Japanese food is mostly made to order with fresh ingredients and needs a high level of skill and training. I feel the price reflects the high quality and excellent service I have always received from this very special business. Also, Kazoku staff are knowledgeable about vegan requirements or those avoiding certain foods. I recommend Kazoku to everyone and will continue to sing their praises. Thank you to all the Kazoku staff for making Hitchin more interesting.

After a friend at work told me about Kazoku I thought id try lunch. I was met by a friendly young girl. The food is amazing very fresh and light. I got there early and was the only one in..but not for long it filled up quite quickly. Can't wait to go back. I said I would return and I did had a bento box lovely
