Brilliant workshop! I learned loads and am itching to start creating. I intend to have a day of 'me time' on thursday, my birthday and I have some gorgeous fabric, which was once a cushion cover, sitting here waiting to be turned into a flower. I would wholeheartedly recommend a Ragged Life workshop/course to anyone. I intend to do an online design course in the next couple of months but will be unable to attend in Brighton in November, much as I would like to Thank you Elspeth for actually choosing a venue that I could attend with relative ease .

I had such a lovely time at Ragged Life's al fresco workshop recently, we had to be outside because of you-know-what but it worked well being in the fresh air. Elspeth is so knowledgeable, supportive and enthusiastic about her subject that I’m keen to continue with projects of my own at home now. It’s a very absorbing activity and I highly recommend giving a workshop a try!

A really enjoyable workshop, fun and informative and a great venue in Trowbridge. Elspeth is an inspirational teacher, knowledgeable, and an excellent communicator. The day was structured so we didn't feel rushed yet all achieved a lot. Elspeth brought a vast range of fabric and we learned how to recycle and prepare our own. Being part of a group we saw how other colour schemes and textures worked and left feeling empowered and confident to continue using our new skill.

Fabulous workshop!! Elspeth is very knowledgeable about all aspects of rag rug making (and beyond) and is very personable and welcoming. The workshop was wonderfully relaxed and we tried a variety of rag rugging techniques before embarking on projects ranging from wreaths to rugs. I thoroughly recommend this course - it will be a day well spent. This craft will have you 'hooked' in no time!!
