Fabulous experience. Ordered direct from the website and selected ASAP for delivery. Now, I do acknowledge that it took over an hour for the food to arrive, but we never had an estimate for how long ASAP meant so have to accept we were just one among many orders and they were delivering to an address in a village some distance from Hitchin town centre so no issues at all with that time frame. I have 2 x fussy teenage boys and the order was absolutely correct. What's not to love about burgers that you need 2 hands to pick up with and eat. My boys loved the taste of the burgers and the accompanying fries (huge portions too). Will definitely be ordering from Smoky Haus & Grill again.

Really nice food! Ignore the negative reviews. Lovely vegan selection and came earlier than expected. Delivery man was very nice. Overall a great experience!
First time using this place and most the food was really good! Downside was that are food took nearly an hour and 45 minutes to turn up. And we had also requested one of the burgers to have no cheese or sauce and it turned up with both which was rather disappointing... and they then forgot our drinks also. But by this point there would have been no point asking for new food as it had taken long enough in the first place. Would be willing to order again in the hopes that they may pay more attention to order details...
Great takeaway burgers, had one of the vegan options and it tasted really good, as well as some rosemary fries which were gorg. came earlier than estimated time and and everyone was very happy with their food! not sure why there are so many negative reviews, will defo be ordering again!
The 1* is for the fact our order finally got delivered. Delivery took well over an hour at 9pm on a Sunday night. Don’t expect a follow up email to confirm order acceptance, I am fairly sure our order was only processed when I called after an hour to find out where it was. Food arrived cold, particularly the corn on the cob. Never thought I would say there could be too much cheese on chips but they were all cold, stuck like glue and I reckon the mass of cheese was there to cover the taste of aged frozen stale chips. So disappointed with this, food went in the bin.
Was really nice the burger and fries were pretty filling but it's really good the food turned up on time and it's not too pricy... Definitely will be ordering from here again
Good food, amazing taste, hot and a quick delivery. Very pleased well order again.
Worst takeaway service. Waited over an hour and half when we live down the road. The delivery boy said he wanted us to come downstairs rather than deliver to our door. The owner couldn’t get a hold of his delivery team. Our food cold and inadequate. The halloumi wasn’t even cooked. And the chips were stale. The macaroni sauce was out of a bag. So disappointing and completely ruined our Friday night takeaway.
