A big difference from the last time I visited over a year ago, nice and cosy and clean pub atmosphere, staff really friendly and service excellent. The lobster was well cooked and very tasty and went well with the classic french fries. As a say a simple late lunch but will be back to try out the rest of the menu soon I’m sure.

The drink and food selection is just incredible. The Hitchin honey gin, Hammerton stouts and garlic lobster were to die for and such good valued for money. Staff are also really friendly and the garden is really nice. Wish this pub was nearer to me
Absolutely lovely pub, Curtious Staff, Beers & Wines to suit every Palate, the Food is Very Delicious. The Sunday Roast is Awesome Very well done :)
The service and welcome are brilliant. Really look after you as a customer, in these odd times. Good selection of beers too.
My husband arranged for a take away roast for us, lovely man, he had Beef and I had Pork and a cheeky bottle of red. It was fabulous and we would both like to thank you. Our son Luke picked it up as we are shielding and it arrived nice and hot, smelling delicious and tasted great. Well done and compliments to the chef.
