This place is a hidden gem!! A fabulous selection of wine, in a cosy, informal atmosphere. Duncan and his team make you feel at ease and offer unpretentious advice about the best wine for your taste! They also offer perfect cheese boards and wine flights to share with friends. Love this place!

Having taken the WSET Level 1 award here, I decided to take the plunge and go to Level 2. This is quite a big step up in terms of knowledge and commitment and Duncan presented it over 6 evenings of 2.5 hours each. (3 x Tue & Weds) with the exam on the following Tuesday. As before, Duncan is excellent - immensely knowledgeable, his passion for the subject comes through clearly as he steered the 7 of us through the course. He must have taught thousands of people how to taste wine and yet he still does this with enthusiasm, patience and humour. A great course, delivered by a great teacher. I'd highly recommend it.

Well if I have to go into Lockdown two I’m taking a couple of great bottles with me from these folks. Please shop local folks and support amazing businesses like this that offer so much more than just a product on a shelf. The team here go the extra mile that's for sure, from WSET classes, food pairing nights, cheese & wine evenings to private party hosting for those cosey nights out with friends. Since I first visited some time ago now this has been my destination of choice whether I want advice on wine or a pleasant evening with friends.
