We in Selibeng Book Club also referred to as S.B.C., believe that collectively we can make a difference and turn the youth of Lesotho into better and useful citizens of tomorrow who can contribute meaningfully to the socio-economic scenario of a better Lesotho. As the name of the organization suggests, Selibeng Book Club is an organization that is formed by youth in Lesotho whose aim is to “provide their peers with the knowledge and inspiration they need to take action as agents of positive change in their communities” (Fred Swaniker). It is these words of wisdom from this learned academician that drive the core business of Selibeng Book Club. Our core business is to drive youth away from the streets, crime and IDLE STATE of mind and bring them together to expand their knowledge through engaging in effective self-improvement thus shaping them into responsible adults.
