While I haven't been living here long, so far it's been wonderful. They keep the outside beautiful and clean, and they're work out room looks great from what I've seen through the windows ;) But the best part is, when we were first moving in, one of the lady's in the office did everything she could to get us the best deal on our first months rent, and they had great promotions going on at the time. Any questions we had she knew immediately and was so friendly and patient. Love the people in the office. The neighbors are also great, and the community is nice and peaceful. My 4 year old daughter has already made a friend in the complex and they're so polite. It feels like home already

Two stars because the apartments themselves are nice, well-kept, and my neighbors are polite. The issue here is with the management. To move in here you need to apply for renter's insurance (Duh) which I have through my agency. I pay 300 dollars every year to renew this policy, and it's written down in an official document which I've sent to the management at least 10 different times. Apparently this doesn't seem to click with the management, and for the past 4-5 months I've been charged an extra 15 dollar penalty fee for 'Not having renter's insurance'. Again, I do have renter's insurance, and I've sent a ton of emails and made just as many phone calls, but the penalty fee still hasn't been removed. I've spoken to the front desk people numerous times and they always say 'Oh we're sorry, we'll call our upper management and credit it back to your account.' but as usual, they never do. They never call back, they never keep up correspondence at all. I would also advise anyone who's unsure about their careers in the area to look into the lease agreement. Not only will they charge you to break it if you're required to move right away, but they will also charge you up to 60 days (two months) worth of rent if you can't give them a notice. I'm looking at near 4k worth of severance fees if I happen to get a new job and need to relocate quickly. It's an absolute scam and unfair to people who can't afford to drop that money in a hurry.

In March I acquired information about apt complexes. I was moving here to the Hobbs area from El Paso, Tx. When I called Homestead apartment I was greeted on the phone by a wonderful young lady by the name of Crystal. I made an appointment to see the model apt. When I arrived at the apt I was met by an energetic young lady who was eager to show the apt. Every question I had she was able to answer. She gave me an application and within a few days of filling out I received a call saying everything was good and all she needed to know was when I was looking forward to moving in. The service was impeccable. I have been to the main office several times to ask questions about the community and other pertinent items and at no time were my questions disregarded. I met the apartment complexes manager, Maria, and she is absolutely the most helpful and accommodating person I have met here in Hobbs. The maintenance crew is some of the best workers I have been around. If I have any issues they are very quick to fix. I have only needed them one time but they responded within 24 hrs. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPLEX TO ANYONE MOVING TO THE AREA!!!!!!!

Hands down the nicest apartments in Hobbs. Starting out the management was very helpful and made it a good experience. HOWEVER, 9 months into my lease I was laid off due to COVID crippling the oil and gas industry, after bringing the document in stating such RICHARD whom is the worst one I’ve dealt with in several years of leasing told me nothing could be done. As it came to the end of my lease. Any paperwork given to Richard didn’t even seem to exist. Then after looking at my post lease charges. I was charged a late fee because apparently they don’t auto draft the last month of rent...to which RICHARD should’ve informed me of after the 3 phone calls I made to him. Of which he never returned a phone call to me which I requested. I will not be returning to homestead due to these issues. I would recommend looking at other places to live with stronger management.
