Lovely food. Wonderful service. It was a chilly but that’s to be expected when you are sat outside. Can’t wait to come back in the summer. If you’re coming before it warms up I’d advise to bring a blanket. But on the whole a lovely way to spend a date night so thank you to all the staff

I believe this place is now under new direction. Despite it's wonderful location, charm and ambience. My second visit to the restaurant was somewhat met with disappointment despite really looking forward to a reenactment of my first gourmet experience there. It has all become style over substance and far too overpriced for what it actually is. It's missing the mark on where they want to be. I felt like I was paying more for the unique service-ware designs rather than for high end food which is what the new price tag would suggest.
Booked a Pod for Lunch and was extremely happy with how the afternoon went, the garden was extremely busy and with the number of team on i was amazed how they even managed so hats of too all those working im sure its been a hard week. Special thanks to Laura, will definitely be returning
Lovely, and for my first visit was a pleasantly surprised, by the amount of options to eat and drink under the the circumstances was great.

A great visit to the Anchor. The Whitebate Starter was amazing cooked with a light crisp texture and moist inside. A pleasent surprise to find this cooked nice. The Rump Steak on the special was amazing. The peppercorn sauce was perfect as was the side salad. Very high quaity cut of meat. Julia the waitress was excellent and made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. The manager sent over a Complimenty glass of champagne as it was my mums birthday. This was my first visit but definitely be coming back.
Great location with views across the river. It gets quite busy but there is lots of outdoor seating. BBQ food is available outside. We have eaten in the restaurant too and the food was very good. There are paths in both directions leading to walks along the river.
Other then it being very expensive. Very nice place. Food is definitly palatable. Staff are all pretty cool. And is in an excellent location... almost picturesque.
