Cine Falls Cine Falls is presently controlled & regulated by Forest Department through Oottamalai Village Forest Council (VFC). The council was created during the year 1997-98 under Tamilnadu Afforestation Project (TAP). It has 286 members since its inception. These people were actively involved in Forest Protection, forest planting activity, soil conservation works and income generation activities like managing cine falls and watch tower. At present the Tamilnadu Afforestation Project (TAP) was completed and currently the council is managing the cine falls and watch tower. It requires revamping of the income generation activities for the council members through additional measures.

Cini falls, before it meets the Hogenakal. Hanging bridge gives the awesome view of the hogenakkal river. It connects the cine falls from the main river. There is an entry fee of Rs.5 for adult.

Hogenakkal is a waterfall in South India on the Kaveririver in the Dharmapuri district of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is located 180 km (110 mi) from Bangalore, 147 km (91 mi) from Kolar and 46 km (29 mi) from Dharmapuri.Sometimes referred to as the "Niagara Falls of India," it is known for bathing areas and hide boat rides, projecting itself as a major tourist attraction. Carbonatite rocks in this site are considered to be the oldest of its kind in South Asia and one of the oldest in the world. The Government of Tamil Nadu made a proposal to convert the falls into providing drinking water for the state.

I'm giving two stars for the falls and nature. Falls is good but this place is filled with people who concentrate only on money and business rather than taking of the tourists. Maintenance is really bad, fish smell every where and don't know why this place is filled with oil massagers!!! Tamilnadu tourism should do something about hygiene. Hogenakkal falls is way more better than this which is located inside karnataka.
