Good for kids
No wheelchair-accessible entrance
Very interesting place to visit. We spent about an hour or so here just looking around. It was so awesome to get to explore the towers. My children (6 and 2) also enjoyed it. We didn't have to pay to enter. There was a restroom. It looked like there was a cafe, or there had been at one point, but it was not open when we were there.

It looks great from distance Very beautiful building
A fantastic castle one of the biggest in the state of Hessen. Very well maintained ample free parking within walking distance and open till early evening. The castle is old from the mid 1100 hundredds so it has seen a lot of history....the castle grounds are well kept and signposted with the points of interest you can access almost all the towers via spiral staircases and the railings are sturdy but care should still be taken. There are clean toilets too. Due to Corona it was nice and quiet and I believe there is a restaurant here but it was closed because of restrictions. This place is not suitable for wheelchairs.
Beautiful,Romantic...The breathtaking view says it all.... You can have Picknics...They do have Theatre performances.
Beautiful, Old, Old castle. Unfortunately we were there too early in the year to go inside. Even so, it is a special place and it was really amazing to see something built in 1190 still partially standing.
Beautiful Castle Ruin. Nestled in top of a hill, that over looks the town below, there are multiple spots to sit and gaze, have a picnic or just enjoy the scenery.
Beautiful place to visit
It was an amazing castle the kids enjoyed looking around definitely would recommend
