From entering the funeral home the afternoon after our mother passed away to the service at the church we can’t thank Miles enough for all they did. Ricky, Richard, Tim and the entire staff are truly compassionate, caring and thoughtful. We couldn’t have asked for a better support team. We are truly blessed to have such a wonderful local funeral home to help with everything at a very difficult time. Our Mom passed away in June. It was a very difficult time for our family, but Miles once again took care of her funeral has they had with past family members. They communicated everything step by step and took care of many details I wasn't even aware of. Always responsive, caring and thoughtful to all our questions and needs. Would like to especially thank Maureen for working with us on the funeral details, and Donna on the design of the pray card, bookmark, candle, and creating a very memorable DVD, we will all enjoy for years to come. Rick should be proud of his dedicated staff.
Miles Funeral Home hosted a memorial service for a very close family member that passed away last month. They were absolutely incredible. The entire team was very kind and supportive. They worked with every wish we had and made sure the service looked exactly how we wanted it to. They called me every day leading up to the service to make sure we had everything we needed. This was our first time as a family dealing with such a devastating experience and they helped make this terrible moment a bit easier. I will always be grateful to them.
Our mother, Rosaleen Bevan, passed away on December 26th, while in a nursing home in SC. Because of Covid, the planned arrangements had to be adjusted, as did the list of attendees. We cannot thank Miles Funeral Home enough for their kindness and professionalism in transferring Mom to Massachusetts for her burial next to our father. The transition home was smooth and no stone was unturned to make such a sad day that much more bearable, because of their help and communication with us to make sure that everything was in order. At the cemetery, we were touched by their thoughtfulness when surprised by the playing of \Supermarket Flowers\ as a touching tribute to Mom, as she rested in final peace. We would recommend that you contact Miles Funeral Home to help with making arrangements for your loved one - they were wonderful.
The staff at Miles Funeral Home are amazing. Tim and Maureen are the nicest people. The funeral home is beautiful and was very spacious. They were so patient and caring. My mom passed away very suddenly and we were definitely not prepared. Tim took the time to show us many options. We were not thrown a bunch of information at once and there was no pressure. We were given time and patience as we navigated through all of our options. They took one of the hardest days of my life and made it a little bit easier. I was shown options based on what we were looking for and chose most of the ones recommended. They listened to what we wanted and put together a ceremony that was exactly what we were looking for. Thank you to the amazing staff at Miles Funeral Home. You were truly a blessing to our family during an extremely difficult time.
