I've taken multiple heavy loads to the landfill. Always have been charged 11 or 12. Today, i took a small truck load of light yard waste. They said I dumped 1000 lbs. Not even close to 1000 lbs. Charged me 30. They need to fix their scale.

I was looking locally for a place to take and dispose of concrete after removing my patio and sidewalk. Prices ranged from 90 to 150 a ton, I then called John Smith Landfill and was quoted 28 a ton, this was a no brainer as I saved well over 700 in comparison to the highest priced competitors. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, not only are the prices extremely good, the place is very clean and it didn’t smell like most dumps.
