They want you to pay them 13.95 a month so that you can submit auditions through their website. I've submitted several self-tape YouTube links as instructed through their website, only to find weeks later that they got no views; the directors aren't even watching them. They also said they would give regular feedback on auditions, which hasn't happened. I'm not going to keep paying for a service that I've gotten nothing out of.

I signed up with them because I thought their prices were quite reasonable, but very quickly was reminded that you really do get what you pay for! Unfortunately had to cancel my membership. The first time I did a self tape - the reader didn't know her way around the camera and it seemed she was reading for the very first time. I had to instruct her on a lot of things. For my fellow actors out there, you know that the last thing you want to do is worry about technical issues right before a scene. The last time I did a self tape - the studio was completely filthy, the lights didn't work and the sound was off and echoed. There was a shadow on my face no matter what angle the lights were at and was not able to be fixed. This time my reader didn't even introduce herself - walked in the studio and since it was a monologue she didn't need to read, but instead half way through my self tape she decided to text on her phone - Wow! Really!? After my scene was done - she just walked out and left to go into her office and closed the door. I didn't know if we were done or if she still needed anything or if I was to wait for her to come back or what?! So, I went to double check and knocked on the office door and she opened and I asked her if we were done? She just replied do you need anything else? I said, well, I want to confirm my email to make sure you have the right one - and it turned out she didn't. Besides all that, a simple goodbye would've been nice. So, you really do get what you pay for: low price - low quality and low service. I recently did a self tape and paid a little more but it was worth it!
